Join Our Board!

We have an amazing board right now of four dedicated professionals, and we are looking to grow! We are seeking two new board members: a Secretary and a Treasurer, although others who are interested should apply as we are always looking for dedicated individuals who believe in the cause.

The Secretary will keep the board organized and efficient, while the Treasurer will guide financial decisions and monitor spending. Both roles require attending board meetings once or twice a month, and the positions offer the opportunity to shape a young organization making a real impact. Interested individuals can find full job descriptions and more information in the link below.

Video outlining the roles is below 👇

First Friday Fun

First Friday Was a Success!

We had a fantastic one-night show with so many visitors! It was a lovely, balmy October evening. We arrived early, hung all the art, and then greeted our guests! So many people came through the studios that night. We got to share our mission and even sold a painting!

Remote Art Group

Artists Reconnecting Through Sharing

Our online monthly group convenes again on Monday,

Bring a recent piece you’ve created or a piece you appreciate by someone else. This group meets monthly to share and connect around art and living with chronic pain. All are welcome.

Art Grants

In seeking grants for our own organization, we often run across grants for individual artists.

This one caught my eye in particular, but there are so many to choose from! Pollack-Krasner Foundation

They have rolling grant dates and provide funding to artists around the world.

Exhibit Update

January Show 2026

Illuminating the Invisible: The Beauty Behind the Pain opens January 8, 2026 at the Southwest Community Center in Portland, Oregon, running through February 20. This exhibit brings together works from artists living with chronic pain—both formally trained and self-taught creators are welcome to participate.

Through paintings, sculptures, textiles, and mixed media, the artists transform their daily realities into powerful visual narratives, offering visitors an intimate look at experiences often invisible to those outside the chronic pain community. The exhibit creates space for both recognition and connection—inviting people with chronic pain to feel seen while helping others understand what it's like to live in constant pain. A new call for art will be announced soon, welcoming additional artists to join this growing collection of voices.
